Cathy, I think I have drooled over each one of these delicious creations as they arrived in my inbox & have even made a few! You know, I try more of YOUR recipes than any others on the net.
I know this must have been a difficult holiday with the loss of your Mom not so long ago. You’ve been in my thoughts a great deal. I hope that 2013 brings you good health & much happiness & many, many vacation trips, too! (being selfish here, as I love to see & hear about your travels)

A Blessed & Healthy New Year,
fondly,
Rett

AAAARRRRGGGHHH!!! And just after I’d resolved to eat less … Happy New Year!!

PS Everyone LOVED the mini-Golden Fruitcakes I gave them for Xmas from your recipe (although some of the ingredients were substituted for the local version they still turned out brilliantly) – so they’re already on the list for next Xma!

Hi OZ – Thanks so much for coming by to visit. And I’m very happy that you and your friends enjoyed the fruitcake recipe. Even people who usually hate fruitcake seem to like that one. I hope 2013 will be a healthy, happy new year for you that is full of travel. One of these days I hope to make it to Australia.
