I love your top photo, oooh la la, so French! Cathy, you definitly took after your moms baking genes, because all your creations are so droolworthy! I’ve never seen glazed madeleines either, I bet they are wonderful. Pack some in your bag next time you come to Chicago!

Oh, those are the most beautiful madeleines I’ve seen, Cathy! We were in Paris last summer and didn’t make it to E Dehillerin….I was so bummed. Just have to go back, right?

Your Madeleines look beautiful with the glaze, Cathy. I’ve only made them once and I recall the recipe had orange juice, orange zest and crushed anise seed. The recipe is one my blog from a couple of years ago. I’d love to find a nice, light recipe too. Can’t wait to see the recipe for the chocolate version!

By coincidence, I just made my first batch of madeleines too! I used a recipe without the baking powder and the cakes turned out delicious when still warm but hardened slightly when cooled! I am going to try your recipe soon!

I love Dehillerin! An Ali Baba Cavern! And I love madeleines – just started baking them last year and I now have 3 pans which make 3 different sizes. Love them. Everyone does! They are the perfect snack. I will definitely try your recipe!
